Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

2 Corinthians 5:17

Missions

In keeping with our purpose statement, Community Bible Church desires to reach the world for Christ by supporting local, national and international ministries. With this same goal in mind, it is the desire of this church to become more and more involved with missionary support as God directs and blesses us. Recognizing we cannot support every worthwhile and worthy missionary effort, we trust the Lord's guidance in deciding whom He would have us support specifically. Of course, these organizations and individuals must adhere to the basic tenets of our doctrinal position in order to receive the support of this church.

Our Elders oversee and approve our missions program. Our Elders decide who is supported and by what amount and they are responsible for reviewing, on a regular basis, the missionaries and organizations supported by this church. If deemed necessary the Elders may appoint a Missions Committee chaired by one of the Elders to evaluate and make recommendations to the Elder Board about the missions program of the church. In this way, the missions thrust of our fellowship is regulated in a manner which by the grace of God assures good stewardship of our mission enabling capabilities.

These are the missionaries that are currently supported by CBC:
